Happy St. Patty’s Day everyone! Our first work day of the season will be this Saturday, March 17 beginning at 10 am. We’ll start the day with a quick  meeting for gardeners after which we’ll get into the business of tilling and prepping the garden for the season. Please plan to join us if you’ve signed up for an individual plot this year (and if you can’t make it please let us know as we will be scheduling a follow up meeting for anyone who can’t come Saturday) but all are very welcome.

We will have two tillers on hand for the workday so if you’d like to till your plot for the season this is a great opportunity to do so. If you’re not able to make it but would like your garden tilled, please let us know.

And finally, since it will be too early in the day for green beer I’m going to try to make Irish soda bread to share. Others are welcome to bring an Irish (or not!) treat to share  – but there’s absolutely no obligation.
